Climbing Up The Walls

Thought it might be an idea to post this, as it seems the mp3 can't be downloaded at the original source anymore.

The Twilight Sad's cover of Radiohead's "Climbing Up The Walls", from "Stereogum Presents... OKX: A Tribute To OK Computer" (2007).

Here It Never Snowed. Afterwards It Did

From Teletext's Planet Sound today:

"The Twilight Sad release new mini-album Here, It Never Snowed. Afterwards It Did on June 9.

It features stripped back versions of four songs from 14 Autumns 15 Winters, which was PS' Album Of 2007 - Memory, Birdhouse, Surrounded and Two Hours.

There are also two new songs - a cover of Daniel Johnston's Some Things Last A Long Time and the title track, which was originally recorded for 14A15W."

New Twilight Sad tracks

Two new songs played live at the Bodega Social on 25th March (see last post for full gig).... Both I believe are from the forthcoming EP.

Edit: only the first track is from the new mini-album/EP. It was apparently played in Nottingham with the working title "jimmy dee".

The Twilight Sad - Bodega Social, Nottingham, 25/3/08

Full recording from Tuesday's excellent gig in Nottingham. Not great audio quality, as I used my mp3 player with its cheap mic so expect distortion!

3. that summer, at home i had become the invisible boy
4. jimmy dee (here, it never snowed. afterwards it did)
5. talking with fireworks / here, it never snowed
6. [new song]
7. and she would darken the memory
8. i'm taking the train home*
9. cold days from the birdhouse

*with some lyrics from frightened rabbit's "keep yourself warm"

Edit: I've added the working title apparently used at the gig for "here, it never snowed..."
